this dog has been brought in and transferred to la plata humane society. he is amazingly affectionate. call them at (970) 259-xxxx similar story as "blue"-- also on our site. we were working on getting better pictures-- not always easy "in the field", as this dog lives on a remote ranch in the Navajo Nation reservation. he is sometimes fed but he has little shelter and no affection, though he is very healthy. the titular "owners" do not want him but have agreed not to shoot him for awhile so that perhaps he can be placed with a decent home. he is a fine, playful dog and gets along well with others. if any interest is expressed, we could secure the dog easily so prospective owners could meet him...
