this dog needs a special caring home. she's a super cute little mystery dog: we have no clue about her history or her breed type. cathy found her "at large" free-roaming at a truck stop on the navaho nation, dodging traffic to get a few scraps of sustenance. maya was too afraid to be touched, and it took cathy a couple of hours to coax her into being rescued. she's not 'all better' yet and needs considerable TLC because she still has fear issues with human beings. but she's a doll with a wonderful personality, playful and so happy to be on the road to being fully part of the family. i included a couple of pics of her playing with a much smaller dog, showing how gentle and playful she is.
